REMINDER: The Anti-Gun NFL Banned This Super Bowl Ad :: 02/02/2015
If you’re going to watch the Super Bowl this year with family and friends, I hope you enjoy their company and the game.
I’ll be spending my time with my family, but won’t be watching the game. I remember that the NFL is rabidly anti-gun, and that it turned down the family-affirming, pro-military, pro-American ad from Daniel Defense, even though other ads they accepted sold far from wholesome sex and violence.
As a matter of fact, I haven’t watched a pro football game all year. I’m not buying tickets, merchandise, or even watching NFL games on television, because even watching games “for free” gives them advertising revenue.
Maybe it’s a pointless one-man protest, but I’m not going to do anything to support a league that is against the basic human right to self-defense.
