Oklahoma Self-Defense: Mayes County deputies investigate shooting after woman allegedly shoots, kills son :: 10/12/2016
MAYES COUNTY, Okla. – An investigation is underway after a woman in Mayes County allegedly shot and killed her son, say deputies.
According to deputies, a mother allegedly shot her son, 36-year-old Ronald Wallington, claiming it was self-defense. After the shooting, the woman was taken in for questioning.
According to Mayes County deputies, they were called out to Mazie, Oklahoma near East 630 Road to a house around 8:30 Tuesday morning.
When deputies arrived, they found Wallington outside the home with a gunshot wound. A preliminary investigation indicates the victim was only shot once.
