Michigan Self-Defense: Woman Fatally Shoots Woman Who Tried To Run Her Over On Detroit's East Side :: 04/22/2019
DETROIT (WWJ) -- An investigation is underway after a deadly shooting on Detroit's east side Monday evening.
Detroit police tell WWJ around 7 p.m. a 47-year-old woman tried to run 37-year-old woman down with her vehicle in the area of Hayes and Fordham Streets near 7 Mile Road. The younger woman fired multiple shots at the vehicle, fatally striking the driver.
Authorities say the shooter is a concealed pistol license holder and was detained at the scene.
It was made not clear what led the victim to try and run down the other woman.
Police are still investigating the shooting.
