California Self-Defense: Jewelry store employees fight off smash-and-grab robbers in Huntington Beach :: 05/23/2022
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - Employees at a Huntington Beach jewelry store fought back against smash-and-grab robbers Sunday.
It happened around noon at the Princess Bridge Diamonds jewelry store at the Bella Terra shopping mall.

Video shows four suspects walk into the store. The first suspect smashes the front jewelry case with a hammer, and at that point a store employee starts attacking one of the robbery suspects when another employee joins in kicking and swinging. A third employee is seen joining in on the attack with a stool.
The employees were able to fight off the would-be robbers; nothing was stolen.
There were no injuries reported.
No suspect information was immediately available.

Police warn it is dangerous to fight back in situations like this.
The store will be closed as the investigation continues.
